At Mi Amor we are constantly striving to create our best work ever. Photography is a passion in our lives and therefore we have developed our technique through training, resource and real life experience.
All the images we have presented on our website are from real weddings that we have captured. They show true moments and genuine emotion. We are people watchers, tuned in to observe and predict. Our aim is to capture moments for you to relive your day over and over again.
FAQ
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
In order to confirm your date a non-refundable deposit (usually 25% of the fee) is due at the time of signing the agreement. The remaining balance is payable one calendar month prior to the day of your wedding. The deposit and final balance is to be paid by bank transfer.
DO YOU CAPTURE PROPOSALS?
Yes, we do. We can keep a secret. We would love to be there to capture your surprise proposal. We can work with you to plan this.
DO YOU DO ENGAGEMENT & PRE WED SESSIONS?
Yes we do and they are a great idea to make you feel more at ease on your wedding day. These sessions are the same as our proposal shoots, however without the element of surprise! Many of our wedding couples feel a little concerned with the idea of being in the spotlight for their wedding images. It is natural to feel like this especially if you have not had any professional photos taken before. These sessions go through some simple poses and suggestions to help you get the most out of your images on your wedding day. The most important thing on your wedding day is your marriage and celebrating your day with family and friends. We want you to enjoy your day and to not worry about your photography.
CAN YOU HELP WITH THE TIMELINE OF OUR DAY? INCLUDING AVERAGE TIMESCALES FOR TAKING IMAGES?
Yes, of course. We can suggest different options for your day.
DO YOU HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?
The majority of our larger and longer weddings will have a second shooter in attendance. Please check on booking for availability.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS? DO YOU CHARGE A FEE?
Yes, we do travel. Further charges may be incurred for long distance travel and overnight accommodation if necessary. Please request a quote prior to booking.
WHEN WILL OUR IMAGES BE READY?
All your images are individually edited so this does take time to complete. Therefore we aim to have your images ready within 8 to 10 weeks after your wedding.
DO YOU MAKE WEDDING ALBUMS?
Yes, usually we wait until you have all your images and then if you would like a professional album made then we can give you a quote for the design and print.
DO YOU PROVIDE A PRIVATE ONLINE GALLERY FOR GUESTS TO PURCHASE IMAGES SEPERATELY?
Yes, we do. This service is for your guests, family and friends to purchase images directly which takes away the responsibility for yourself to distribute your images. We choose some of your best images from your day and create a password protected gallery. Prints and digital images can then be purchased directly.
CAN WE BOOK A POST-WEDDING SESSION ON LOCATION?
Yes you can. We class these as a stylized session as we have enough time to get a posed shot in a location that may have a more picturesque or dramatic scenery. It is something fun that you can do after your wedding to create some fine art or just fun images. You can request a portrait quote for this.
DO YOU PROVIDE RAW IMAGES?
We do not provide the raw images. We fully edit all our images in our own style. The reason we do not provide the raw images is to protect our Mi Amor professional business image and creativity.
CAN YOU CHANGE THE EDITING STYLE?
Unfortunately, no. We do have our own style of editing which we like to maintain. We would suggest choosing a photographer that already edits in the style that you prefer.
DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
No, we do much more! We shoot family portraits on location and studio portraits of babies and toddlers. We cover events and also do commercial photography too.
DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes, we do and our equipment is also fully insured.

Any information, including your images, will be held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data collected will be held securely and used only for administrative purposes.
Mi Amor will always request your consent to use your images.
You have a right to request a copy of the information that we hold on you and you have the right to request corrections or deletions of it. You can ask Mi Amor to stop using your images at any time, in which case they will no longer be used in any future publications and will be withdrawn from digital media but may appear to continue in publications already in circulation.
